2. Guide to Movies (Frieden and Elliott)
   Provides reviews of movies that include elements of lesson plans and background materials. Films rated by age appropriateness. Designed for parents, but appropriate for teachers. Also includes a section on films that have merit, but provides reasons why the films are not a preferred medium for use in teaching children. Index loads slowly.

   Purchase movie tickets online. Tickets also available by phone at 1-800-555-TELL. Just say "movies." If you have difficulties retrieving your ticket at the theatre, Fandango advises you to see the Theatre Manager. You may also call 1-866-688-6675 to discuss your problem with Fandango staff. Awesome Library does not endorse this service, but provides it as an example. Awesome Library staff have found the service to be unreliable on occasion--buyer beware. If your theatre and Fandango fail to communicate properly, it may be difficult to get your ticket reimbursed. 12-01
